The St. Augustine Music Festival produces, performs, and promotes inspiring, world-class music to a diverse audience in an accessible, welcoming environment to enhance the quality of life and further the sense of connection within the community. Concerts are performed by internationally known performers and new, young talent that travel to the St. Augustine area to share their expertise and appreciation for classical music. Concerts are presented at the historic Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine – a beautiful, convenient, and accessible location with excellent acoustics – in historic Old Town St. Augustine. All concerts are free to the general public and ADA accessible.

 

Instead of abandoning the 2020 season due to the Coronavirus pandemic, SAMF had to pivot with a virtual festival that premiered on Facebook and YouTube on the dates and times of their originally-scheduled live festival. The performances consisted of some favorite archival footage and specially-produced performances. The SAMF virtual festival was extremely successful, broadened the audience, and created the possibility for more virtual performances in the future.

 

SAMF came to Identity Brand Design for a total brand and image overhaul. After some extensive research, we created new brand messaging and a logo that reflects SAMF’s history and tradition. We produced some print and online materials, including business cards and email newsletters. We also created a comprehensive show package for SAMF’s virtual festival – consisting of a show open, lower thirds, transitions, full screens, and end credits – and even managed SAMF’s virtual festival production and execution. We still work very closely with SAMF and are gearing up to do a brand new website that reflects their new brand and visual identity. Stay tuned!
